Island Travel Log VII : Mabul Island, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia (Nov 2013) ~Underneath Hidden Creature~

Still not a diver...maybe in the future.

Did you know that SIPADAN ISLAND won the World's Best Dive Site? Yup, No 1, Barracuda Point, Sipadan Island, Malaysia, by CNN travel.

Please do click the link below:

Just sharing a few photos taken previously on November 2013.

I LOVED the colours of NudiBranch...Blue

I have plans to go to Sipadan Island even it is quite expensive. As I aware of that to dive in Sipadan Island, you need to be professional diver standard, Dive Master and above...because it is dangerous there. The current is very high.

If you would like to come here and need a few information or assistant regarding the ground arrangement or other packages:

Island Travel Log VI : Mabul Island, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia (Nov 2013) ~My Group Trip~

My 1st group trip in November 2013. This trip also brought me to know new friends and contacts. I planned this trip mainly for Charity Purposes (Generator's Fund & Mabul Kids Charity) and managed to collect nearly MYR/RM2000.

I am still NOT A DIVER. Planning to go for Diving Course in the future. I hope at least I am able to dive in the future not only in Mabul Island but other famous dive spot.

At this moment I realized that I'm able to help others for ground arrangement and a few information sharing to this tranquil Island in Borneo.

Island Travel Log II : Mabul Island, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia (June 2013) ~Bajau Laut/Pala'u~

I caught a few photos of BAJAU LAUT who live in the boat. The BOAT is their HOUSE, WASHROOM, KITCHEN even "Making babies".

According to Wikipedia Pala'u/Bajau Laut, this sub-group originally lived on boats all the time but almost all have taken living on land in the Philippines. But still you can see them in Mabul Island, still living in their boat.

Traditionally they are from Moro indigenous ethnic group of Maritime Southeast Asia. They also known as SAMA or SAMAL.

I experienced hold their hand and touched their skin and it feels different. Their odour is like a fish. According to the nearby villagers, these Pala'u can swim and dive in the sea without mask or regulator to support their breathing. They are THE BEST DIVER.

Maybe constant exposure with salt-water and direct sun...their hair changed colours easily.
